What is Impact?Impact is a partnership of child and family-serving agencies working together with youth and families to provide coordinated services for children with serious emotional disturbance (SED). Impact strives to build and enhance home- and community-based services for young people involved with the juvenile justice system and/or Department of Human Services. This is the kind of care that has proven most likely to help young people and families have life-long success. A system of care is a partnership of everyone who cares for a child — families, teachers, service agencies, health providers, and more. Impact promotes the meaningful involvement of families and youth, which ensures that a child and their family receive the services and supports they need to succeed. VisionThe community system of care embraces, serves, and supports children with serious emotional disturbance and their families so children are safe and successful with their families and in their community. |
